Meat, dairy products, refined cereals and sugar may present a risk for developing prostate cancer.

Italian scientists carried out a study by observing the different types of food consumed and their influence in developing prostate cancer. A total of 1,294 men with prostate cancer and 1,451 control subjects participated in the study.

Researches summarized the results of the study: “Our analysis reveals that consumption of animal products (meat and dairy products), as well as refined cereals and sugar play an important role in the development of prostate cancer.”
