A new video proves: Hunting animals is a brutal crime.
Shot and wounded animals suffer from guts spilling out of their bodies. Others suffer for days from their bullet wounds. If that's not a crime, then what is a crime? Could it be that the perpetrators are insane? As the first German President Theodor Heuss put it: "Hunting is merely a cowardly circumlocution for the especially cowardly murder of fellow creatures that don’t have a chance. Hunting is a variant of human mental illness.”
Cholesterol in Eggs is Dangerou
Researchers caution that consuming eggs is not as harmless as some reports claim. The authors of a new publication in the Canadian Journal of Cardiology explain that the cholesterol in one egg exceeds the maximum amount recommended by the American Heart Association and the National Cholesterol Education Program. Both recommend less than 200 milligrams per day for people at risk for cardiovascular disease. Authors go on to caution that stopping egg consumption after a heart attack would be “a necessary act, but late.”
A recent report from the Dietary Guidelines Advisory Committee reiterated the recommendation to reduce dietary cholesterol to less than 200 milligrams per day for persons with or at high risk for cardiovascular disease or type 2 diabetes.

The former US precident Bill Clinton is a vegan for healthy reason (rarly he eats fish what is not recommandable because of the pollutants in many fishes). His daughter Shelsea is a vegan, too.
Quotation Bill:Clinton: "Since 1986, several hundred people who have tried essentially a plant-based diet, not ingesting any cholesterol from any source, has seen their bodies start to heal themselves -- break up the arterial blockage, break up the calcium deposits around the heart. 82 percent of the people who have done this have had this result, so I want to see if I can be one of them."

The Inner Workings of the Meat Industry and Its Accomplices
In its column Medizinethik (Medical Ethics), German national online newspaper Welt Online carried a report on 23 July 2010 headlined "Study Recommending Meat for Infants Is Fuelling Fears".
According to a study published by so-called experts at Bonn University in Germany and the German Forschungsinstitut für Kinderernährung (Research Institute for Child Nutrition), or FKE, infants are at risk of a harmful iron deficiency unless their baby food is supplemented with meat starting at the age of 4 months.
These findings contradict World Health Organisation (WHO) guidelines recommending only breast milk until at least 6 months of age.

Meat-Based Diets Increase Bladder Cancer Risk
Meat consumption increases the risk of bladder cancer, according to a new study presented at the American Association for Cancer Research’s annual meeting. Researchers studied the diets of 884 participants with bladder cancer and 878 controls and found that those who ate the most meat were up to 58 percent more likely to develop bladder cancer. Eating well-done meat was linked to an almost twofold increased risk of bladder cancer. Cooking meat at high temperatures produces carcinogens called heterocyclic amines. Study participants who consumed the most bacon, pork chops, fried chicken, and fried fish also had a higher risk.

Documentary About the Appalling Conditions in Europe's Slaughterhouses Featured on 29 March 2010 on German Television News Magazine Tagesthemen
On 29 March 2010 at 10:25 p.m., German television news magazine ARD Tagesthemen reported on the appalling conditions in Europe's slaughterhouses, highlighting to its meat-eating viewers the consequences of their culinary delights. A feature of this kind being aired on public television is rather surprising; usually, meat-eating editors are not very keen on highlighting their own sins and annoying industries that exploit animals but pay for advertisements. Myriad animals are tortured to death, scalded to death and sliced open while they're still conscious, and to my utter surprise the report clearly spelled out the culprits behind these crimes – the consumers.

Recent study from WorldWatch Institute –
the extreme importance of livestock for the climate change
A recent study published on October 21, 2009 by the renowned World Watch institute, authors Goodland and Anhang concluded that over 51% of greenhouse gases (GHGs) emissions come from livestock. So the consumption of meat, milk, dairy products and eggs are by far the main reason for climate change. Without changing the diet habits to a vegan diet there is no chance at all to avert a climate catastrophe.
